The Rivals takes place on the rooftops of Skyline City, where you and a teammate will choose a unique weapons loadout and fight to represent one of the 3 teams – the Crimson Scales, the Ember Dawn, or the Tentacle Titans.
When the doors open and you’re in the arena, you and your teammate will race and battle other teams to collect Llama coins from a randomized vault, and be the first to safely transport the Llama Coins to the nearest cashout station.
Teams are assigned at random when you enter the arena. You will be able to see your team assignment above your shield (bottom left of your screen). If you queue with a friend, you can rest assured that you will be paired as a team. Any points that your team scores will be showcased on the top left next to the official team icons in-game.
